I picked this place for its price and quick access to Munich Airport, about a 10-minute drive away, and was really glad I did. It’s a quiet little hotel with lots of distinctive touches. Breakfast had an enormous range of choices, even compared with large chain hotels, so there should be something for every taste. There’s also a self-service fridge stocked with beer, wine and other items, as well as reasonably priced sandwiches. Arriving and leaving couldn’t be simpler: take the key from the counter at check-in, then leave it there when you go. I stayed one night and would come back if I need a place around Munich again.

We found a quiet, clean and modern room in this lovely little refuge in a sleepy farming town outside Munich airport. We’d booked it after many flights were cancelled and the service line was a mile long. Breakfast was an amazing spread.

The value here is the best I’ve come across anywhere in Europe, and I can hardly wait to return. I stayed May 11 and 12, 2015, and plan to be back May 8 and 9, 2016. It’s a small, beautiful place, furnished with great care and a lovely minimalist style. Breakfast and evening snacks were very good, the rooms open to the outside, and there’s free parking on the property.

From the outside it first looked like a farmhouse, but inside it was really nice and spacious. The bathroom had heated floors and a radio. Breakfast was amazing.
