The best part of each day was dinner at the restaurant next door: a lovely three-course meal made with quality ingredients, with attentive service from the lady of the house. Thanks to the Voll family for such a relaxing stay. There’s plenty of space in the clean rooms, and some have balconies looking out toward Kreuzberg mountain. After a hike, the little pool was just right for unwinding. The enormous garden has cushioned loungers and parasols, perfect for settling in with a book. A lovely little find in the Rhön region.

We made good use of the small pool after a long hike, then stretched out on cushioned loungers under parasols in the spacious garden. The rooms were very clean and roomy, and some have balconies with a great view of Kreuzberg mountain. Breakfast was impressive too. Dinner at the restaurant next door was the day's highlight, with a three-course menu made from quality ingredients. The owner cooked it beautifully, and his wife served us with care. A real gem in the Rhön region. Many thanks to the dear Voll family for a very restful stay at your hotel.

It was a really bad experience. I went with a friend for his birthday, and even getting started was frustrating: I asked for a window table, was told it was reserved, but nobody ever showed up for it. The food was mediocre at best. My croquettes were dry, the schnitzel breading had no taste, and the server seemed unenthusiastic. She also forgot the salad I ordered.

That breaded veal schnitzel with asparagus and fries was one of the best I’ve ever had. We went for lunch as a family and were all thrilled with the food. Highly recommended!

For my mother's 90th birthday party on Saturday, all 40 pan-fried dishes were cooked just right and had loads of flavor. The food was truly excellent, and I can only give it the highest praise.
