The apartment was nicely furnished and spacious, with a kitchenette, fridge, and kettle. We were there for the weekend with our dogs. The owner greeted us very rudely, which needs improvement and left us feeling that hotel guests apparently aren't needed here anymore. We mentioned that the shower towels were small. The bathrobe, on the other hand, was a hit. Breakfast cost extra, but we didn't book it. I would come back if they worked on how they treat guests. It could certainly be better than this.

We set off on our hikes from this clean, well equipped little guesthouse, and the surrounding area is beautiful. The HSB train station is very close. Breakfast is served as a small buffet in a separate building, with everything you need to get the day started. It leaves nothing to be desired, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. We'll definitely return to collect more stamps for our hiking badge :)

With the Harzquerbahn railway just outside and the station only a two-minute walk away, the location is ideal for lovely hiking trails and a picturesque village. The place has a welcoming feel, with a guesthouse that fits right in. The staff are incredibly friendly and take such good care of both the house and guests. Everyone is friendly, the prices are fair, and it's a rare find these days. The rooms have everything you need, and breakfast is delicious and varied. We always enjoy coming back.

A few little things may catch your eye, but it's worth mentioning them to the owner, who usually sorts them out right away. The area is great for hikers and anyone looking for peace and quiet, and other attractions are easy to reach by car or public transport.
