Schlepzig turned out to be a lovely base for seeing the Spreewald, with plenty to do in the little town. We stayed 10 days at Am Spreewaldfliess and felt at home in our two-story apartment. It was really well equipped, and the whole place was cared for inside and out, right down to the garden reaching the water. The Krause family were such warm hosts. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

That meadow beside the canals was a real highlight, since we could set off by paddle straight into the beautiful Spreewald forest. I was there for a little over two weeks for work, but ended up enjoying the stay a lot. The apartments were clean and had all the essentials, and guests really do feel welcome here, which you don't find everywhere.

We were four adults staying for the weekend, and there was plenty to enjoy around the property. We used the barbecue facilities and ping-pong table, and found sun loungers too. The apartments have air conditioning, and our kitchen had everything we needed. The whole place is very well looked after, and it's clear the Krause family put a lot of heart and passion into being such lovely hosts. A great place to stay in the Spreewald, we'd definitely come back.

Our Audi A4's engine trouble meant we couldn't really have the proper holiday we'd hoped for, though the engine is running again now. Even so, we were thrilled with the place during our spontaneous weeklong booking in August 2022, made on a recommendation. The property and its friendly owners deserve five stars. We'd love to return for a real vacation. Best wishes to Schlepzig!

It was easy to enjoy the lovely natural setting in peace, whether out paddling or walking. The host family were friendly and rounded off a wonderful holiday in lovely Schlepzig. The property itself is very well maintained, with tastefully furnished, clean rooms.
