A really nice place. The bed creaked a bit, which was my only complaint.

Everyone was so friendly, and breakfast was excellent. My room was roomy and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed and good bedding. The setting felt romantic, under big, beautiful trees, and the stay was very pleasant. There were mosquito screens on the windows, too.

We've been back five times over the years and will book again next time we're in the area. Hotel Müggenburg is small and charming, tucked into a very quiet, beautiful spot in Schlepzig. Anna Müggenburg and the staff are fantastic, and small requests are always considered and accommodated when possible. Breakfast is one of the best and most generous we've found, with many dishes, including salads, made fresh each day. Wishing Anna Müggenburg and her team continued success and many happy guests.

We felt right at home over our weekend stay. The hotel is in an idyllic spot, with its own boat and canoe dock, and it's furnished with real taste. Service was super friendly.
