They were really welcoming, even when traffic made us late. They still accommodated us for dinner. The food was very tasty, the service was very good, and the rooms felt homey. A few things could be better: the pillows were too soft, WiFi was slow, and the cleaning staff were shouting noisily outside the rooms early in the morning. Aside from that, we'd definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was excellent, especially the innkeepers, along with the room, food, and service. It's also perfectly placed for local day trips. We're already making plans to come back.

We'd come just for a meal and were surprised by how amazing it was. The place has an old-style look and sits out in the middle of nowhere. The food was amazing too. Highly recommended if you want to spend an afternoon in a hotel with high-quality service.

I spent a week here and found it a very good hotel. The restaurant was the highlight, with a great rumpsteak and plenty of other good things on the menu. Breakfast was great too, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It's close to both oberkirch and offenburg. In Oberkirch, Rewe supermarket is open until 22.00 if you need something, and in Offenburg there's a great burgerplace called Burger Marie.

A great base for a cycling or walking holiday.
