My friend had a medical emergency while we were there, and everyone supported us in every way they could. I’m especially grateful to Joachim and Barbra, the owners. They’re such lovely people, especially when things get difficult. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are so kind and helpful. We hope to see you again soon ❤️

I’ve stayed here many times over five decades and recommend it wholeheartedly. The welcome is warm and genuine, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is excellent. It’s a high quality family-run hotel in the lovely village of Ringelbach in the Black Forest, not far from the beautiful town of Oberkirch. If you’re in that part of Germany, don’t miss the chance to stay here.

The only drawback is the reception’s opening and closing schedule, which can limit your options if you need quick help. Apart from that, it’s a great place. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are very nice and helpful. It’s in a beautiful part of Germany.

I’ve stayed here a few times and love the place. The people are welcoming and friendly, the food is great, and the regional wines are excellent. There’s also a pool and sauna. My suite had a balcony looking over vineyards and orchards, and the suites are lovely. The hotel sits among the vines on “wine street,” with main transport hubs within easy reach. Wine lovers might enjoy Winzerkeller Hex vom Dasenstein and Oberkircher Winzer nearby. They’re personal favourites of mine. Franz Fies schnapps distillery is next door, with an interesting display of equipment and history outside.
