Even with every table occupied, the service stayed quick. The food was genuinely local and really good.

We were even given a few drinks by the restaurant at the end, maybe because we were nice :) The prices seemed fair, and the portions were enormous. Some starters are practically a whole dinner. The food was unbelievably good. 5+

What stood out most was how attentive everyone was, even though the staff barely had a moment to rest. They kept an eye on the guests, pointed a wandering child toward the toilet, and handed sweets to the kids as they passed. And the steak was incredibly tender, one of the best I can remember in a long time. We'd gone to Oberstaufen for dinner while staying in Isny, DE, and ended up at Adlers terrace after wandering around. It was packed, but they found a table for the two of us and our child. My partner thought we'd be waiting a while because the waiters were so busy, but the food arrived within ten minutes of ordering. I wondered if such fast service could mean the food wasn't very good, but it was a lovely surprise. We're already back in Holland, and I'd love to return someday.

The Käsespätzle was pretty good, and the service was warm and friendly. It was Allgäuer style, which differs from Swabian.
