Das Freiberg

Everyone on the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and clean. But there were no outlets by the bed, which is a design mistake. We were in the main hotel, so getting to the wellness area meant walking past reception and the restaurants in a bathrobe. The outdoor pool was really nice, though we were disappointed that the relax room was always full and we never got to use it. We mostly ate at Fetzwerk, which was open from 1 pm and had good choices, especially for vegetarians. All in all, a good option if you're staying in the area.

Even though we were really unlucky with the weather, the whole team made our stay so worthwhile. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel is a great base for hiking or just relaxing in the wellness area and pool. One of the best hotel experiences I've had so far. I can highly recommend staying here, and want to thank the team.

Awesome hotel, wonderful and perfect. We'll be back soon, and more than once.

Dinner on the half-board package was a highlight: a four-course menu that really left nothing to be desired. Breakfast was just as good. The spa has two saunas, a beautifully furnished relaxation area, and a heated outdoor pool. The family-run hotel is on the southern edge of Oberstdorf, and service was outstanding. From the balcony of our tastefully and modernly furnished apartment, we could see the Alps. It was a thoroughly pleasant stay, and we highly recommend the hotel. We'll definitely return.
