Gerberhof Hotel Garni

A green meadow for walking the dog is less than 200 meters away, and the place is clean, well cared for, quiet, and still central. The family and staff are real hosts. What made the difference was talking things through: they asked what hadn't worked in Garmisch and what I needed for my senior dog, then provided everything we needed. We'd planned a Pentecost holiday there with our dog and his parents, but the accommodation was completely unsuitable. I contacted this place in Oberstdorf quickly. I'd stayed at this hotel several times before, and we could sleep peacefully after 10 pm. Holiday saved, absolutely top-notch. Don't just book, ask questions and talk with them, then look forward to a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

I felt very comfortable here, and that's what a vacation should be. There was a good choice of drinks I could help myself to whenever I wanted. When I had a toothache, they helped me right away, even though that went beyond the usual service. Friendliness and helpfulness clearly matter a lot here.

We were given dog wipes to clean our dog's paws outside, and we'll definitely return to the Gerberhof. This was our second stay with our dog. The rooms and beds are great, though the shower feels a little cramped because of the doors. Breakfast is exceptional and has everything you could want. Michaela, who started just before Christmas, is such a warm presence at breakfast and a real asset to the hotel. Everyone greets you with a smile.

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and you can tell the hotel is run with care. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with something for everyone. From the balcony, you can see mountains and meadows, while the town center is just a short walk away. The rooms are cozy and very well equipped; the whole hotel is beautifully designed and spotless. I've stayed at Hotel Gerberhof several times, and this was another wonderful holiday.
