Breakfast is fantastic, especially with the beautiful outdoor dining area and its breathtaking views. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service very good, and the wellness facilities and activities are very good too. We stayed five nights last summer and are returning next week to the same suite as last year. We booked a newly renovated room, and booking directly with the hotel is better than using Booking or other portals. EV charging is available, and the parking fee is very reasonable. Looking forward to our next stay.

We had a lovely vacation here. The apartment was comfortable and had everything furnished for us. It's on a quiet street and easy to get to, and the owner was helpful. We felt at home right away, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Tiefenbach is easy to reach on the bus, which runs regularly during the day, so you can visit Oberstdorf without a car. Finding restaurants there takes some searching. I've also seen the holiday apartments, and they're comfortable. My single room had a comfortable, very large bed and a new, very large bathroom with a walk-in shower. The room itself was just adequate for one person, though, and no bigger than the spacious bathroom. More room would have been nice. There was a pendant light in the middle that I bumped my head on several times a day, and finding a free electrical outlet was a challenge. The accommodating landlady said she'd fix the light. The ground-floor room had a very thin door, so sounds carried clearly: guests and the landlady coming and going, and conversations in the breakfast room. Breakfast was adequate. The landlady handled the food and drinks and gave first-time visitors information about Oberstdorf. Parking was no problem.

The owner welcomed us so warmly and runs the hotel with so much care. Our room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was excellent. The location is great for hiking. Thanks for a fantastic holiday and the tea! 😍
