Our room faced the back of a neighboring building across a small, quiet alley, so there wasn’t really a view. It did stay cool, though, since it didn’t get direct sun. The holiday apartment is tidy and suits two people, with a little kitchen, couch, bathroom, and bedroom. It’s right in the center of Oberstdorf and handy for backpackers. The host was very kind and helpful.

There’s a separate locker for skis or other outdoor gear, and the location is good. The rooms were okay, with a small kitchen, and the welcome was very friendly.
