Hotel Garni Tannhof

Great hostess, cozy bar area, and a nice pool. It’s a nice hotel.

The mountain view was beautiful, and the hotel was clean, but the place felt stuck in the 70s or 80s. The furniture was old and worn, and the towels weren’t white. I wouldn’t keep towels like that at home. There was a bathtub in the room, but the shower head barely had any water pressure. The much praised teatime was a joke, with donuts cut in half and a piece of cake split into three. Breakfast was lovingly prepared, but served in tiny portions in miniature glass jars, plates, and bowls. We’ve never experienced breakfast rationing like that elsewhere. I’d be embarrassed to ask for more than one serving. I didn’t use the pool or sauna, so I can’t comment on them. For the price of bed and breakfast, they could easily spend a few euros on new towels and renovations.

We felt very comfortable and will definitely book again. The breakfast had everything we could want, and the service was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Our hostess was attentive and seemed to anticipate what guests needed. When we arrived for our first stay at Hotel Tnnenhof, she gave us a warm welcome. The rooms were spacious, clean, and in good condition. The bathroom had both a bathtub and shower. It was a little dated, but very clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The breakfast buffet was beautifully laid out with everything you could want, including jam in little jars, homemade Bircher muesli, rice pudding, and more. On weekdays, coffee and cake are served in the afternoon, and you can have as much as you like. We also made use of the sauna and pool, and there’s parking outside the hotel or in the underground garage. The owner welcomed us warmly when we arrived for four nights of skiing at Hotel Tannhof. The hotel is a bit older, so of course it isn’t comparable to a five-star place, but we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Our room was very spacious for three people.
