We had Christmas Eve dinner here, and the venison goulash was delicious. Service was great too. The place has recently come under new ownership. I didn't stay in the rooms, though I heard they're just as good.

The location is excellent and the decoration is on point, but the food was mediocre. Both the Knödel and sauce tasted as if they came from a box. Service was so hectic it became distracting, and they seemed to need one more person. For that food and service, the price felt a little high.

The food was good, though the hostesses were very busy.

We were a small group at the restaurant yesterday, and everything we ordered was spot on, from salads and burgers to schnitzel. They happily handled our special requests, and the service was attentive and very friendly. We even got a complimentary drink after dinner, and the chef stopped by our table. We'll definitely return.
