The late checkout until 1 PM was a really nice gesture from the staff. I'm touring different Dorint hotels around Germany, and the sauna at Frankfurt/Oberursel has stood out. It's roomy and relaxing. The wellness area's water dispenser wasn't working, though, so there was no water available. Staying hydrated matters in a sauna, and I was disappointed a hotel of this class missed such a basic detail. The facilities are otherwise excellent, but they need to pay closer attention. I also think the parking charge is too high for a suburban location like Oberursel, outside the city center, and should be much lower.

The stay felt cold because the heating didn't work, and when I raised it at reception, nobody offered a fix. The duvet was also too small to cover me properly. At least the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom adequate. Sorting out those issues would make the experience much more pleasant.

I've stayed here twice now. It's clean and professional, the food was good, and the bar is a comfortable place to sit. I'd come back.

The bathroom was very clean, but the bedsheets had stains and smelled unpleasant. The room itself was okay. Check-in was awful and very cold, and nobody told me about the services, like the gym or Wi-Fi. During cleaning, staff switched off the mini fridge and left a note saying it was to save the environment or something. It was hot and we wanted cold water, so that wasn't acceptable. They offered to chill anything we needed at reception, but that was really inconvenient. I've never had a hotel turn something off while supposedly cleaning the room, and the cleaners barely did anything beyond making the bed. I'm also very disappointed by the whole experience. I won't stay at this embarrassment of a hotel again. To whoever reads this and wants to respond, don't bother. There's no justification for this behavior. Never again. 0/10.

We had a very good business trip here with a group. The hotel is cozy and nice for a reasonable price, and both the service and breakfast were very good.
