Spatzennest worked out really well for a week, especially as a base for driving to places like Legoland, Ulm, and Augsburg. It’s out in the countryside, so a rooster may wake you up. The facilities are excellent and everything was very clean. The children’s room was a highlight, with toys and cuddly toys, all arranged with lovely attention to detail.

We stayed in the smallest of the three apartments, and it was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The village is peaceful and charming, with a local feel. Two bigger towns with shops, supermarkets, and gas stations are about 10 minutes away, and Legoland is roughly 30 minutes by car.

The apartment itself had great amenities, but the service gets only 3 points from me. Even though we’re tradespeople, having to go into a rented apartment every day is unacceptable. I don’t think that’s right.

The lovingly prepared table was such a lovely touch, and the landlady was really friendly. We had a fantastic stay in the Maria Waldblick vacation apartment, which had everything we could wish for. We’ll be back to enjoy this beautiful area again.

Maria made sure we had what we needed and was so warm and welcoming. We felt right at home during our wonderful long weekend at Fuchsbau. Everything has been furnished with care, and we didn’t find anything missing. We’ll be back! Greetings from the Westerwald.
