The rooms were clean, and the owners were really friendly. You can get everywhere on foot.

For a holiday in Oberwiesenthal, the apartment was perfectly adequate, with the town center and ski area both easy to reach. We liked our long weekend there. It had what we needed, the owners were friendly, and the price felt fair. The house is older and, of course, it's not a 4-star hotel, but everything was fine for us.

We had more room here than in any of the other apartments we've stayed in over our several years of skiing in Oberwiesenthal, and the private rental was good value. Ours had two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and bathroom, with comfortable beds and a hot shower. The fenced property had its own parking space, which was a real bonus. The owners were friendly, and there's an Edeka about 10 minutes away on foot. For skiing, the chairlift parking lot is a two-minute walk, while the Neklid parking lot for the Klinovec ski area is about an eight-minute drive. You can walk if your skis are stored at the ski school, though I wouldn't recommend walking in ski gear. The apartment smelled a bit musty at first, but airing it out cleared that up easily.

We had a great stay and would definitely come back. The rooms were clean, the location was great, and the landlords were very nice. Everything we needed was there.
