6/10
The owner was very friendly, and the hotel has the basics: a bed, hot shower, and TV. I stayed four days and everything was fine, including the bed. It’s about five minutes from the ferry from Ingelheim. The place is nice, though a bit old school and run down. I didn’t have internet on my first day, then had to wait about another two days for a different Hotspot. The key system is interesting, and reception is usually closed at certain times. On our last day, the owner even asked my colleague and me to have some breakfast, as he seemed to feel indebted. I didn’t eat breakfast there otherwise.

The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable, with river views. The staff were very kind and even treated us to beers. Breakfast was very good, and the location right by the ferry was excellent. I’d absolutely recommend it.
