We only stayed one night, so I didn’t get to see the pool or the area around the hotel. Breakfast was nice, and dinner in the restaurant was fine. The newly renovated hotel still has an old-fashioned touch, and the rooms are a good size. Just check the glasses in the room.

The staff were very attentive, and the rooms were clean and roomy. There’s a cozy wellness area included with the stay. It felt worth the price, especially for a place close to the German border.

We went for the full seven-course dinner and the food was outstanding, creative, and full of new ideas. A beautiful spot for a peaceful break.

The staff were friendly, which was the one plus for me. If you don’t book an “upper class” room, you’re placed in the back part of the hotel, which is a poor setup if you have bags or trouble walking. The rooms are dated too. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it.

The kitchen was very good, and the server was well trained. Great service. I’ll add pictures next time!
