There’s plenty of parking, so arriving was stress-free. We booked a double room and were very happy with it: cozy and rustic, spotless, and well cared for, with that immediate feel of home. The staff were a highlight, consistently kind and attentive in a natural way. Meals were delicious, generous, and high quality, and the varied breakfast buffet had something for everyone.

It’s already our third visit to the Luchsenburg Forest Lodge, and we’re clearly happy to keep coming back 😊 The team is warm and attentive, and they’ve always been accommodating with our requests. We also appreciate that special dietary needs are taken into account. Our German Shepherd is welcome in the cozy cabin, where we feel right at home. We love the half-timbered cabins, especially how warm and snug they stay in winter. After a day exploring, it’s lovely to sit on the little bench outside and catch the first warming sunshine. Forest trails around the lodge make for long hikes, and nearby outings are great too if you’re looking for nature, quiet, and relaxation. Breakfast is plentiful, and the food is tasty with more than generous portions. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
