The bed was so comfortable, and the quiet setting made it easy to unwind. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the town center. The small apartment was clean and had what we needed. The kitchenette is a bit limited if you want to do proper cooking, though there are plenty of handy utensils. We’d definitely stay here again.
We spent a lovely 1st Advent in the Drechsel family's holiday apartment, which was decorated with care for Christmas. There was plenty of room for the two of us, thanks to the thoughtful layout, and everything was spotless, well kept, and in very good condition. The bedroom had a brand new, very comfortable box spring bed. The kitchen had a wide range of equipment, so self-catering was easy. It’s peaceful while still being centrally located, a real jewel in the Ore Mountains. Mr. Drechsel was always pleasant and easy to contact. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
The landlord was very nice, and the price was unbeatable, so we’d come back. The apartment had enough space for two and everything we needed. It’s a little dated and could do with some renovation.
We spent the long weekend there as four people, including two senior citizens, and managed fine. One guest needed the bathroom often during the night and was happy on the living-room sofa bed because it was the shortest way to the toilet. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and we thought the price was more than fair for what we got. The apartment is bright, clean, and welcoming, with tasteful, functional furnishings of good quality. The kitchenette works for self-catering, and when it’s sunny, you can enjoy the evenings outside. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely extended weekend, thanks to the Drechsel family. The little apartment is charming, clean, comfortable, and has everything you need, including Wi-Fi. It’s very quiet, but you can walk to the town center and several shops. There’s parking right in front of the house if you come by car. Olbenhau, the town of seven valleys, is easy to explore from here on foot, by bike, public transport, or car.
