The first thing we were told on arrival was that each person had to pay 23€ directly. I asked why, but got a mumbled response that it was on the website and that there was an extra 23€ charge because it was the weekend. My wife and I checked, and it wasn’t there. That’s an absolute no-go. The hotel also seemed very abandoned. There are better hotels nearby. A scam!

The team looked after me and my Family so well, even making things comfortable for us because of our 2year old baby. We enjoyed every moment at parkhotel olsberg, and the reception and service were wonderful. Chijoke Family, thanks to the team. I can’t wait to go back there.

The rooms were splendid and well cared for, the setting was nice, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I’m a difficult guest, for example I don’t eat meat, but they did everything they could to prepare some dishes for me.

There were lots of facilities and plenty of rooms available. Dinner was below average, though breakfast was decent. The beds were very good and I slept really well. I also had a good time at the bar.

The sauna was still open and free, parking was spacious, and the Aquapark was 100m away. We also stayed one night in the camper parking area. There’s a supermarket 100m away, breakfast was normal, and dinner wasn’t too expensive. Staff were friendly, depending on who you got. The bar guy was very, very, very friendly, and we finally had a laugh. Mostly older people were staying there, and the room could use some paint. There was no water cooker, but the electric sockets were within reach of the bed. The pool was closed for renovations, and the free Aquapark tickets were only for 2 hours. Wi-Fi cost 5 euro for 48 hours, cash only. Payments were cash only throughout, with no credit or bank cards accepted.
