We had a great meal here the first time, but the second visit was a disaster. The Wiener Schnitzel, which was meant to be veal, was so tough we couldn't cut it. The side dish was good, and after waiting a long while with no one coming by, we ate that because we were hungry. When the server/owner checked on us, we showed her the problem. She asked if we wanted anything else, but we politely said no and wanted to leave. When I asked for the bill, we were charged for just one schnitzel at €29 as a "compliment." I don't understand why the kitchen served it. I can't recommend the restaurant anymore and have taken it off my list. The second star is for the good service we had on our earlier visit. I can't comment on the hotel itself.

The food at the hotel's own restaurant was very good, and we'd gladly return. It's a small, pleasant hotel with well-equipped rooms and good service from the staff. Thanks very much.

The owner still comes out to greet you personally, and the staff are warm and attentive. It's a lovely hotel in a beautiful, peaceful spot. Thanks for everything, and see you next time!
