Limehome Osnabrück Johannisstraße

Our car broke down on the way, so we couldn't make our reservation at Limehome Osnabrück Johannisstraße. We contacted the hotel, explained what had happened, and asked for a refund, but the staff showed no empathy or willingness to help. The customer service was very disappointing and they showed a complete lack of understanding. Based on this, we wouldn't recommend the place.

We booked a room at night without realizing check-in only started at 3 o'clock. Customer service said they'd cancel the order and refund us, but never sent confirmation or returned the money. When we called again two weeks later, they said it was too late and that we should have canceled through Expedia, even though we booked through booking.com and they'd told us they'd cancel it and return our money. I see this as a cheap way to keep our money.

I enjoyed the stay overall. It was warm and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the place was very clean. The coffee machine and tea were a nice touch, and the location is very close to the city center, though the neighborhood felt a bit unsafe. The shower only had cold water on the second day, and we found a dirty sock in the room that wasn't ours. The rest was fine.

The room was pretty good, and cooking was possible with utensils available. We were on the third floor, though, and there was no lift, which was hard with our heavy suitcase.
