It's a good, clean, quiet place, with great owners who are flexible about requests. The village around it is sleepy, so it's ideal if you want peace and a chance to reconnect with nature.

After a long hike, it was lovely to come back and be looked after. The Beschow family gave me such a warm welcome, and I felt like a real guest from the start. My wishes were taken care of, and they discussed special requests in advance. I only had to call, and everything was made possible. The guesthouse is tucked beautifully among the mountains, and the price is excellent for what you get. I'll definitely come back, hopefully for a longer stay in spring or summer.

We had a wonderful weekend at Sonneneck. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, plentiful, and varied, and the cakes and pastries were sensational. The room was cozy and comfortably furnished, and the service was excellent. I'd give it more than five stars if I could.

We dropped in for coffee after a private event, and the service was really friendly and attentive. The cake tasted delicious, and so did the rolls. The homemade cakes on display looked amazing. I'd definitely come back.

Dinner was simple, but incredibly tasty, and the portions were generous. Marcel and Jörg are wonderful, and we didn't lack for anything during our nearly two-week holiday. The cakes and pastries are incredibly good too, even if you just stop by for coffee. Marcel is a master baker. It was simply fantastic, and we'll definitely be back!
