The place is clean, well looked after, and in a lovely, quiet setting. We slept well too, the beds were comfortable. The welcome was so friendly, and the hosts, who ride bikes themselves, made us feel especially welcome as bikers. They even offered to store our bikes indoors. Small amounts of things like toilet paper, cooking oil, and dish soap were provided, which made the stay feel well equipped.

There’s plenty of peace, quiet, and open space around this lovely cottage, which is set in a converted pigsty. Inside, it has everything you need, including a spacious living room with an open, well equipped kitchen, a lovely bathroom, and a great view. There are two bedrooms and an extra toilet upstairs. It’s a lovely spot to unwind and get away from the daily rush. A very cuddly cat also wanders by now and then, which was lovely.

The animals and play areas were a real plus for the children. The apartment itself is cozy and has what you need for a pleasant stay. The owners are very welcoming and happy to share ideas for excursions. We had a great stay.

Fresh eggs at breakfast were a lovely touch, and the area is beautiful to explore. We really enjoyed our stay in the Van Gelre cottage. It’s a lovely apartment with all the comforts you need, and Rina and Peter Jan gave us such a warm welcome. Definitely a strong recommendation.
