The rooms are roomy, nicely equipped, and clean, and I was given a friendly welcome. If you find yourself in the beautiful, picturesque village of Hessen, this is definitely a place to stay.

Parking is available right in front of the guesthouse, and the hosts are very friendly. It's a lovely place with everything you need, plus an excellent breakfast.

The place is exceptionally beautiful and peaceful, and the hosts are warm and accommodating. Getting there by bicycle is no problem either. I can wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse.

We had a very comfortable four-day stay in July 2020, and would gladly return to Pension zur Bahn. It's in the small village of Hessen, part of Osterwieck like many nearby places, and feels like a hidden gem in Saxony-Anhalt. The three rooms are spacious, about 25 square meters each, and feel almost like apartments, with everything a guest might need. The beds are comfortable, and the owners are very friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, with fresh rolls, sausage, ham, cheese, honey, and several jams, all delicious and nicely presented. There was something for everyone.
