LOEV - VELA Hotel

We’re already planning a fourth stay. This was our third visit, and the easygoing, friendly service is a big reason we keep choosing this hotel. The staff clearly know their work: the woman who checked us in was lovely, and the breakfast team of three or four remembered our coffee cream and latte orders and paid attention to the little things, while still giving us privacy. This time we chose a junior suite. It was roomy and comfortable, and housekeeping cleaned it quickly each day. We also used the pool when it rained on our second day, and it was fantastic. The location works well too, about 10-15 minutes from Hbf and a five-minute walk to the beach. We love this place.

We were here for one night on a business trip and really liked the interiors and the kind service. Breakfast went well beyond what we expected, with a great range of food and fresh ingredients. A great hotel in Binz.

The cuisine was fantastic, and I'd recommend eating here even if you're not staying at the hotel. The rooms have tasteful Scandinavian-style furnishings, and everyone we met, from reception to housekeeping, was exceptionally friendly. It's one of the best hotels I've come across so far. The two biggest drawbacks are small ones: parking can be chaotic, so tell the staff your car's measurements to make sure it fits in the carport. Otherwise you'll have a short walk from the parking area. And the breakfast buffet tomatoes don't taste like much. Yes, those really are the main downsides. :)

This is our second stay at a hotel in the Vela group. We checked in two days ago and have tried two room types, a Junior Suite and a Premium double room. Check-in went smoothly, and we got all the information we needed. The tablet in the room also has details about the hotel and the surrounding area. The hotel was renovated two years ago. The rooms are en suite and have a hairdryer and a small kitchen area with a coffee machine. Four capsules are free; more cost 4 Euro at reception, or you can get them at the nearby supermarket. The spa has a pool, sauna, and massage services. Breakfast is included and offers a good choice, though there isn't much for guests who don't eat pork, just one chicken option. The beach is a five-minute walk away, with the shopping mile right in front of the hotel. Parking is in the hotel's parking garage, but SUVs need to use the outdoor parking area.
