Pension Haus Edelweiß

I had a really lovely stay and will definitely come back. The hosts were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and there was a nice reading corner and an elevator. Breakfast was amazing, with loads to choose from, including scrambled eggs and lovely fruit. The rooms were clean, though not especially modern. The beach is just a stone's throw away, and the train station isn't far. If you're after luxury, this isn't the place. But Binz is incredibly expensive, and this guesthouse gives you fantastic value for money. Bring your own shower gel and hairdryer. There were four of us staying in two rooms, and we heard the same complaints from other guests. The welcome was unfriendly, with no warmth at all. We felt like we were bothering them, which wasn't a nice feeling. It's a family-run business, but I've had much better experiences. The rooms had only the bare essentials and were very worn. Worst of all, they were really dirty, and even "dirty" feels like an understatement. The rooms were bad, and there was no service to speak of. NOT RECOMMENDED! I just added some photos through Google Maps. I hope I can add them to this review too.

We enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, and it was more than enough for us. Good value for money. 👍🏼

Breakfast was the best part of our trip. Every day there was something different and tasty, from oatmeal and pancakes to cake, plus scrambled eggs served so nicely by a friendly waitress. We were really happy with our stay and will definitely be back. Best wishes!
