Our first stay at Residenz Margarete was a 14-day holiday at the end of July/beginning of August, in Apartment 1.1, and we were thrilled with it. The place was great, very clean, and well equipped. It came with a beach chair on the ground-floor terrace and another at beach exit 9, both included. The location is central but really quiet, and it's less than a five-minute walk to the beach, shops, and the main street with restaurants. Mr. Callsen was a great host, too. We've been visiting the island of Rügen for 10 years and had always stayed in Binz until our beginnings. We'd love to come back!

Apartment 1.3 feels especially peaceful, with few immediate neighbors thanks to its corner position. The Wi-Fi was stable, and the terrace has seating plus a large beach chair. Sun reaches it for only a few hours because of the nearby building, so the apartment is fairly dark. I wouldn’t choose it for a winter stay. Inside, it’s modern and welcoming, with most of the furniture in good shape, though the armchair isn’t. The kitchen has up-to-date appliances, a big freezer, plenty of dishes, and nearly everything needed to cook, along with a bean-to-cup coffee machine. The location is excellent: a quiet house just a 3-minute walk from the beach, with everyday shopping available on foot. Underground parking is included, but note the entrance is about 1.90 m high.

Several supermarkets are easy to reach on foot, and the whole Margarete Residence is very well cared for. Each apartment comes with a space in the underground garage, and there are different apartment sizes. I can’t speak for the individual units, of course. The location in Binz is a real plus: the pedestrian zone, beach promenade, and sea are all about a 5-7 minute walk away. In my view, Margarete Residence is a great choice for a successful holiday in Binz.

Apartment 1.4 was in very good shape, with a pleasant feel, comfortable bed and mattresses, and practical, attractive furnishings. The kitchen and cooking setup are good, and the bathroom is nice, with a large shower and underfloor heating. There’s also a useful swivel TV. The sauna or relaxation room is available, and the terrace is a nice extra. The sea is very close, restaurants are nearby, the supermarket is around the corner, and there are good cycling options. Recommended!

Late arrival was organized really well, and the management support was excellent. There’s plenty of room in the underground parking for a Citroën Jumpy, especially in height. Housekeeping preparation was excellent too. The kitchen and amenities were excellent, and the place was in excellent condition. Much better than I expected. Highly recommended. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
