Really great.

We wouldn’t book Apartment 613 at Villa Seeadler again. The location is fantastic, and the balcony view is lovely, but the value for money is terrible. The apartment feels extremely outdated. The furnishings are obsolete, and when we opened a cupboard, its door came off in our hand because the hinge was broken. We reported it and the door was taken away, but it wasn’t repaired during our stay. We’d allowed someone to look into it while we were out, but they left our front door unlocked even though we’d locked it. That’s unacceptable. The bathroom also quickly developed a musty smell, and there wasn’t a blanket or anything similar for people who get cold easily. The kitchen had pots and pans, a clean dishcloth, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, and three rolls of toilet paper. There was a salt shaker but no salt, and not one drawer to put our supplies in. The living room had an ancient printer and DVD player, which is also listed on the website, but no DVDs. In 2025, those old devices felt out of place. The television was very old too, and not a smart TV. It was our first time in Binz, and the extra parking cost was an unpleasant surprise. The underground garage is €16 per night, and there are practically no alternatives. We were lucky to get a space at all. Why isn’t this information on the website?

We were back at Strandvillen Binz and once again had a beautiful apartment overlooking the Baltic Sea. They took our special requests into account and even arranged a lovely birthday treat. Thanks for the first-class service. We’ll be back.

What ruined the stay for me was the construction work, which hadn’t been announced. The landlord knows about the noise, and there’s no way to stop it. Anyone booked here over the next week or two, in my opinion, is going to be unhappy. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the apartment was unusable. The noise was unbearable and completely wrecked my holiday. For the price, the holiday apartment at Seestern is otherwise okay. The door frames need replacing because the wood near the floor is badly damaged and coming loose. The windows could do with a clean, and a blanket would have been nice for sitting outside on colder days. But this was a complete disappointment.

The location is perfect, but I’m sure I can find somewhere nicer, cleaner, and with healthier air. The place was very dark and poorly cleaned, and I developed a bad cough during my stay. The air felt stale after sleeping, even when I’d aired the room out. The cough disappeared as soon as I got home. With underground parking at €16 per day on top, I can’t recommend it. I’m not usually fussy, but unfortunately this deserves a bad review.
