Villa am Park

The studio was spacious and had everything a couple could need for a comfortable two-week stay. We also liked the welcome card, drink, and fruit. Its setting by the park was peaceful, with the main road and beach only a few minutes away on foot. The parking arrangements were frustrating. There are spaces at the property, but nobody explained how they were assigned. Even though some were free and we’d asked when booking, we were sent to a spot almost a kilometer away, a 5-10 minute walk depending on your pace. Contact with the property manager on our first day was unacceptable. The next day, the manager reached out and communication became reasonable, and we were allowed to park at the hotel. The bathroom and toilet were cramped, perhaps only four square meters, and the water pressure kept swinging from a dribble to a jet. It was manageable for a short visit, though a longer stay would have made it a real problem. Cleanliness was mixed: things looked fine at first, and a few cobwebs weren’t a big deal. But when something fell as we packed, I checked under the bed with a flashlight and found the source of the dust bunnies. The guestbook also felt more like a handbook and ad brochure. It could have included useful basics, like whether the hotel water was drinkable. Maybe I’m being picky, but that’s why I’m giving three stars. I might stay at Villa am Park again, though I’d also look at places not run by Baltic Hideaways.

We got married in Binz two weeks ago and chose Villa am Park for our first stay there. The owners were very friendly and easy to reach, and we’d happily come back. The apartment was clean, modern, and comfortable. It’s beside the spa park in a quiet spot, but still central, with the beach, pier, and bakery all a short walk away. We can definitely recommend it! 👍

The room came with a welcome drink and fruit, which was a nice touch. It’s modern and really clean, and the location is spot on, just a three-minute walk from the promenade.
