Villa Herbstwind in Binz

The lake is about a 5-minute walk away, and the beach takes less than 10 minutes to reach on foot. Before we arrived, everything went smoothly, and the holiday apartment turned out to be super modern and equipped with everything you could need. It felt like home, and it was very clean and well maintained. The pictures are completely accurate. There’s nothing negative to say, and I highly recommend it. We’d love to return. 👍🏼

A supermarket, bakery, and plenty more are an easy walk away. The house is on a very quiet street, right near Lake Schmachter, and the whole apartment was clean and well maintained. It’s a very nice, fully furnished holiday apartment. Walking to Binz’s tourist center takes about 5-10 minutes. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

Villa Herbstwind is a lovely choice if you like tasteful decor in calming colors. We spent a week in Apartment 1, which was spacious, furnished to a high standard in simple, clean colors, and had plenty of storage to keep things tidy. The kitchen was well-equipped, with quality appliances and lots of dishes and utensils. As usual, bring your own sharp knives. The beds were comfortable and cozy, with high-quality linens, and the second TV was a real luxury. My only drawback was the blackout blinds: as someone who sleeps in the dark, I found that sunlight came through early in the morning, so I’d suggest bringing a sleep mask if you’re as light-sensitive as I am. The other apartments looked lovely too, and I suspect their balconies have even better views. The location is fantastic, just a two-minute walk to Lake Schmachtsee, which is especially beautiful around sunset. The pedestrian zone and beach are easy to reach as well. Our bicycles were safely stored in the bike room. Communication with the hostess was very pleasant. There was some back and forth because of Covid, but everything worked out perfectly, and my forgotten belongings were handled carefully and quickly. I haven’t added photos because the published pictures reflect the place accurately. :-)

The bakery is just around the corner, and the beach, promenade, and lake are all an easy walk away. It’s also a really peaceful spot. Inside, everything was very clean and decorated with great taste. We even got to check in two hours ahead of schedule.
