A letdown. The rooms were chilly and noisy, and those curtains were comical.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always smiling. They also immediately let us stay longer in the room on departure day at no extra cost, even though the occupancy schedule had changed. There were four of us staying for two nights after the other guesthouse in town, where we’d booked, turned out to be overbooked and sent us here. We had a child with severe disabilities with us, and it seems the guesthouse hadn’t been told. If they had known, the friendly staff surely would have put us in a ground-floor room. Excellent, highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but I found the bed-and-breakfast price too high compared with other places I’ve stayed. We paid Igor €230 for two nights in a double room. The room was clean but cramped, with no air conditioning, so it gets unbearably hot at night in warm weather. The mattresses were very soft, too. Other guests ignored the 10 p.m. quiet time and talked loudly in the courtyard until after midnight, then there was more noise again at 6 a.m.
