The staff were incredibly friendly, spoke multiple languages, and were very generous with their kindness. I was upgraded to a room with a balcony at no extra charge, and the stay was the most peaceful travel experience I’ve had. The room was really well equipped for a quaint mountain town and sits right beside a river. I’m very thankful for my stay!

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon while using it as a base for the Black Forest. The hotel room was comfortable, and the balcony view was fantastic. As someone with a leg disability, I was pleasantly surprised by the small elevator for luggage, since I don’t expect that in small local hotels in Germany. Staff were super nice, breakfast was great every morning, and dinner at the restaurant one night was fantastic. Steak can be hard to impress me with, but they did. I’d book a stay and eat here again anytime!

A lovely little hotel in a picturesque part of the Black Forest. I arrived by train, and it’s just steps from the station. Hiking trails start right outside the door, and breakfast was outstanding, with lots of local touches.

We stopped for dinner here on our way home to Belgium. The food was amazing, and the prices were very good compared with other cities. The staff were very friendly and helped us out a lot. The hotel has a rustic look that suits the atmosphere. Thanks for having us.
