The train station is right next to the hotel, so it worked really well as a base for exploring the area. We took the train into Munich for Oktoberfest, and it was quiet enough that it never disturbed our sleep. The modern rooms were comfortable, with heated bathroom floors and towel racks, plus lots of outlets in the room and bathroom. There was a 24 hr tea center and a bowl of candy in the lobby. It had a lovely small town feel, too. Breakfast next door was delicious: yogurt, fresh fruit, crusty rolls, hearty breads, cheese, cold meats, croissants, and preserves. The eggs and bacon came fresh to the table from a cast iron pan. We highly recommend this place. It’s set a high standard for the rest of our Europe trip.

The spacious room could have been great, but it was missing a personal touch, like a cozy corner with a rug, lounge chair and lamp, or something artistic. The hotel itself is modern and well kept, and the service was great. Breakfast was really excellent. We didn’t try the well recommended restaurant because it was closed for its rest day.

Spotlessly clean room, superb service, and very friendly people. The location is great, between Munich and Tengersee. 👌

The train station is very close, and Munich is a 30 minutes ride away, so it’s a perfect place to stay for a visit there. The hotel was quiet and very clean, and the rooms were spacious and air conditioned.
