We spent a long weekend here and were impressed by how roomy, clean, and tastefully furnished the apartment was. It’s in a very central location and worked perfectly for a toddler. There wasn’t any outdoor seating, such as a balcony or terrace, but we were out and about most of the time and didn’t really miss it. We’d love to come back.

That balcony over the Medem River was the highlight for me. The apartment is in an old silo storage facility and has a separate bedroom, a living room with a kitchen and dishwasher, an entrance hall, a big bathroom with a shower, and a storage room. It works well for two people. The downside is there’s no insect protection at all!!!!!! I’d rent it again if that were installed. The apartment belongs to Mrs. Korte and can be booked through Fredebohm Touristik. I’ve added more photos under Otterndorf. There are other apartments in the Medem storage facility too, including the Elbmuschel, which has Wi-Fi and fly protection but costs more. Locals live in the building as well.

Some of the former warehouse is used for holiday apartments, alongside the condominiums.
