Aigner

We came with three friends for Oktoberfest and had a great time at the Aigner Hotel. The hotel is outside the city center, but there’s a bus stop right out front, and the underground connection is quick, so Oktoberfest is about half an hour away. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind. Absolutely approved!

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. During my three-week business trip, breakfast was cancelled several times even though I’d paid for it, and the same happened with cleaning. The wifi was very unstable, and washing a small bag of clothes cost 40 euros. There’s no restaurant, and the location is poor. I’d pay a bit more for somewhere closer to the U-Bahn.

We felt at home here and would recommend it completely. The staff were extremely friendly, and the room had everything we needed. It was spacious, nicely decorated, clean and new, and warm in winter. The lighting made it cozy, and there were sockets all around, plus a TV, fridge, hair dryer, and kettle for tea or coffee. The wifi was really good too. Breakfast was good. Since they only serve breakfast, they let us use cutlery and dishes in the room when we brought food in from outside. Munich center is 40 minutes away.

It was a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, greeted us with smiles, and did what we asked. Breakfast had lots of different options, and there were many restaurants around the hotel. Parking and wifi were free. By car, the old city was about 30 minutes away; by bus and then underground, it took 50 minutes.
