This was a handy place to pause on our way to Denmark, with the town center nearby and a gas station just around the corner for filling up. We could walk about 8 minutes to Total Planlos in Owschlag for an easy dinner of burgers and schnitzel. We were traveling with our 9-month-old baby and 3,5 year-old, and the room was clean, tidy, and set up well for a family. Breakfast was good too. We left feeling rested and looked after, and would happily stay again. A lovely B&B in Dannevirke, especially with young kids.

There’s plenty of parking, and the B&B is on a quiet road with a gas station nearby, handy if you’re on a road trip. It has its roots as a biker B&B, with stickers from all over the world around the place. My dad and I stayed one night for a weekend visit to local museums, dressed as vikings. A friendly lady welcomed us warmly, and our room was great. The beds were soft and cozy, and the bathroom was spacious, simple to use, and easy to get into. We also got a helpful tip on where to eat. Breakfast the next morning was lovely: tasty bread, a boiled egg, condiments, a hot drink, juice, and some dairy. The decorations in the breakfast hall added to the experience. We’re definitely coming back this summer, this time on our soon-to-be-new 50cc bikes. We’re already looking forward to another stay! One side note: book directly instead of through tripadvisor, since they take a fee. The people here deserve support for all the effort they put in.

Cecilie, the owner, was so nice and helpful, and breakfast was good too. We found the rooms clean and equipped with everything we needed, even coffee milk and mineral water on the bedside table. It’s a cozy, charming place with lots of thoughtful details, especially for anyone into motorbikes. A perfect one-night stop on our drive from Denmark to Czechia. We can definitely recommend it.

We had an easy, enjoyable stay here, and the owner was a real standout: friendly, helpful, and full of good cheer. The rooms are spacious, making it a great choice for families on a short stopover. Highly recommend.
