The harbor is a short walk away along several lovely paths, and the thermal baths are right next door for relaxing when the weather's bad. There are also many beautiful nature trails through the lovely landscape, and nearby horse pastures where you can walk your dog. I stayed at Kranichnest for a week with a friend and my two dogs, and it was magical. We all felt at home right away. The apartment was quiet, with little traffic on the street, tastefully and comfortably furnished, and had everything you could want. The kitchen had every utensil imaginable. The landlords live upstairs. They're friendly, gave us a warm welcome, and were there when needed, while otherwise staying pretty much out of sight. I highly recommend Kranichnest, even with a dog. I'll definitely come back.

There was plenty of space in the holiday apartment, and it had everything needed. It was generally clean, though I wouldn't look too closely. The place is showing its age and some things could do with an update. I expected more based on the reviews.

The hosts were fine with our two dogs, and getting in on the ground floor was easy. The apartment was lovely, spacious, and very well cared for, with all the amenities we could need. We'd happily come back for a few relaxing days.

The thermal baths are right next door, and the landlords are friendly. It was a fantastic old apartment with high ceilings and everything we needed. There was parking on the property, and the window screens kept the mosquitoes out. It's the little things that count. I'd definitely stay again!
