Töpferpark

We got a personal welcome and could park right by the accommodation. Our apartment was in the main building, with a kitchen and private bathroom, and was practical and well equipped. It was bright, welcoming, and very clean. Most of the cutlery was provided, but if you like coffee, bring your own. The rooms can get quite warm when the weather is warmer. We slept well, though the rooms are a little noisy and you can hear the front door. Earplugs made that manageable. Breakfast was beautifully set out, and our requests were always accommodated. The outdoor barbecue area, seating, and sun loungers make the property well suited to groups.

The place was modern, really clean, and thoughtfully put together down to the little details. We were welcomed warmly and treated even more kindly during our stay. Since we had to leave very early the next day, they prepared breakfast for us ahead of the usual breakfast time, with so much care. We’d love to come back. It was lovely, friendly, and easy.

The pottery park is well worth recommending! We stayed four nights during what felt like the hottest June ever, and luckily got moved to an east-facing room. Breakfast was booked separately on site and set us up well for exploring. The hosts were always around and had lots of excursion tips. We had a great stay and might come back. There’s so much to see in the tri-border region that a short visit can’t cover it all.

The hiking area and surrounding nature are lovely, and the nearest shops are close by. It’s also only a 10-minute walk to the narrow-gauge railway for Zittau or Oybin. This was our third stay, since we know we’ll be warmly welcomed and find the apartments spotless, modern, and in excellent shape. We’ll definitely return for a fourth time! 😉
