Room 11 was spotless, but the old wallpaper, painted over in places, and war-era furniture made everything else feel like the 1930s. We stayed on September 14, 2019, while attending a course in Wiesau. For just under 70 euros, that was a disgrace.

The paprika schnitzel with fried potatoes in the pub wasn't anything special, and the rooms are completely outdated. In winter the room stays very cold even with the heating on 5, probably because the building is so poorly insulated and all the windows are ancient. Hot water is a gamble too, so if you can't get warm, tough luck. The Wi-Fi works well, though you have to ask for the password. I definitely wouldn't stay again in the colder months. Update, 3:00 PM: all the radiators in the bathroom and room are cold!

We'd love to come back. It's a lovely family-run guesthouse, very neat and lovingly furnished, though a bit dated. The padded toilet seat and ancient hairdryer were amazing.

The bathrooms have been renovated, and the rooms are spacious with somewhat older furniture. It's a clean inn and good value for money. A bit dated, but that's normal for this area.
