Pension Heidi is a great choice for a stay in this part of Bavaria. Dave was the friendliest hotel owner I’ve ever met. Since he’s British, I felt a bit braver heading out into the countryside with my limited language skills. He also gave me plenty of helpful ideas for things to do before and during my visit. The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast had everything I could ask for. Guests at local hotels can get a travel card for 2 euros to use on buses and trains around the region. Two thumbs up for Pension Heidi.
