Gasthof Fallmuhle

I had a nice trip right up until the end, which was such a shame. I wrote when booking that I’d bring my own bed sheets because the charge for them was 20 euro. The sheets were already in my room when I arrived, so I put them in the closet and told the receptionist. She said “OK.” After my stay, they charged me another 20€ as a cleaning fee. It seemed to me they were charging for the sheets under a new name. It didn’t seem to matter whether you wanted bed sheets or not, they charged you anyway. Please be careful. They didn’t listen to me, and the place didn’t feel like it had much of a customer service mentality. I can’t remember if the female owner even smiled at me once lol. There’s no wifi, flies are your friends, and the restaurants are expensive. I will give the male owner credit, though, he was friendly. Thanks for ruining the trip at the end :)

A friendly, no-fuss place to stay and eat. They’re welcoming to guests with dogs too.

The kids have plenty to keep them busy, with dogs 🐕 and donkeys 🫏 around, and there’s a good range of food for them too, so the little ones won’t go hungry. We were given a very warm welcome and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and the portions generous. See you next time!

The menu is short but really good, and the Tyrolean Gröstl was delicious. Prices were reasonable, and the staff were friendly. Inside, there’s a lovely rustic feel. The restaurant is a little off the main road, and I wouldn’t have found it without a tip from a local. I’d gladly come back :)
