The restaurant food was excellent every evening we ate there, and the service was super friendly and accommodating. The full breakfast in the morning had fresh produce and cracking tasty buns. This charming, cozy family-run hotel is also a wine estate, and its very nice wines are served at the restaurant and sold to take away. The Trester, a wine brandy, was excellent too. It’s right on the banks of the Mosel in a quiet spot, with a lovely terrace out front. The rooms are spacious, the beds are good, the bathrooms are modern and neat with walk-in showers, and the free Wi-Fi worked well. You can watch Netflix on the TV after logging in. There’s free, spacious parking at the back, plus facilities to store and charge e-bikes safely. Nothing too fancy, but the value for money is great. It’s also a top base for cycling to places like Bernkastel-Keus, Brauneberg, Trittenheim, Neumagen-Dhron and Törnich. At the moselloreley, God isn’t in France, but at the Mosel in Piesport!!!

Dinner was fine, but when we wanted the bill there was no staff around to help us. We looked for someone and couldn’t find anyone. After 20 minutes, they came back and said they’d all gone off to eat. If you’ve got nothing else to do in the evening, you could come here. Otherwise, better stay away.

The view was beautiful, and the room nicely decorated, but there was no storage space at all, so it lacked basic comfort. We also waited an hour and a half for our first plate. All of that felt pretty unserious, and we won’t be back.

The rooms are cozy and very nice, with a fairly modern bathroom and enough space. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff and owners were really nice.
