The crostini were a highlight, crunchy baguette with a really lovely mix of textures and flavors. We had dinner at Landgasthof Meier in a snug little séparée where you could see into the kitchen, and the whole meal felt special. The staff were warm and attentive, portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and came out at just the right temperature. Courses and drinks arrived without much waiting. We’ll be back in spring to see how the seasonal menu changes. All the praise is deserved, 6/5 stars!

My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday here. The salad was even better than the ones you get in the city, and the rest of the food was amazing too. It’s on the pricey side, but not pretentious, and I thought it was worth it. Plan on around 70 per person.

The schnitzel was amazing, and the place had a cozy feel with staff who were really accommodating. The kitchen is great, though the risotto was too salty and my friend was still hungry afterward. Empty plates and glasses also sat around too long. Some advice.

The food was good, but the setting spoiled our New Year’s dinner. We’d booked well ahead at Meier, yet the staff put us in a room with office chairs that I assume is used for meetings or office work, instead of the restaurant. It didn’t feel festive, and we had to share a large table with another group. They should turn down some bookings rather than lower the guest experience.

The ingredients come from the village itself, or at least the surrounding region, and the quality is really high. It’s one of the best country restaurants around here. The dishes are served in a beautifully designed space by staff who are both friendly and genuine.
