We got a warm, uncomplicated response when we called in the summer to ask about two available rooms. When we checked in on New Year’s Eve, Frau Feustel welcomed us so warmly and showed us to our rooms. It was quite cold, and she had already turned on the heating. The rooms were cozy and very clean. Even after a short night, we slept really well. The next morning, breakfast was lovingly put together and served at the time we requested. We’d be happy to stay again next time we visit Plauen. The motorway connection is convenient, though the hotel sits in a rather unattractive residential area. Once inside, though, it feels like an unexpected gem, with a lovely atmosphere and beautiful rooms. The service was very friendly, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious and prepared with care.

I often visit my mother in her nursing home in Plauen, and this is the best place I could have found to stay. It’s a small, cozy family-run hotel with lovely, well-equipped rooms and a consistently great breakfast. If needed, the owner will even cook a delicious dinner. Mrs. Feustel is always kind and has a friendly word for everyone. I’m always glad to come back and can highly recommend the hotel.
