The hotel has a nice forest behind it for walks, and there’s a playground too. The two sisters on staff were really kind, complimented my little sister, and were friendly in general. It's a bit dated, which I actually prefer to the newer minimalist hotels. Recommend!

The hikes starting right out the back door, including the routes to the swimming lake and the mountain, were the best part of our lovely stay. Still, some small things about the stay left me feeling a bit cheap and used by the hotel. Read below for details.

A great tucked-away spot, with really nice staff. Our room was very clean, and the view was inspiring. The pool, sauna, and bar were fantastic, proper five-star experiences. If you have a German monthly train ticket, this would be a great place to bring your bikes. Ride during the day, then enjoy yourself at night.

We had a lovely stay here in summer, when it was very quiet. I imagine it gets busier in winter. The rooms are nice and the beds are good, with good food and a very good breakfast buffet. There’s a lovely little indoor pool, so even rainy days offer enough to do. It's a great base for walking in the hills.
