Steffen & Monika were such courteous and welcoming hosts, some of the best we’ve met in all our travels. Their property is lovely and well cared for, and we really enjoyed the pool and sauna. Breakfast each morning was a fun start to the day. My wife and I highly recommend Steffen & Monika if you’re looking for a break or visiting the area.

We had a nice, clean room with everything we needed, including WiFi, TV, a little lounge area, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, towels, shampoo, and soap. The hosts were really friendly too. It’s a great spot to relax up on the hill and look out over the green valley. I’d recommend it and hope to come back!

From the hillside you get a lovely view over the Poppenhausen valley, especially when the town is under morning fog and you’re sitting in the sunshine. There’s a good convenience market within walking distance down the road. The hosts are friendly and keep the guest house cozy and professional. The rooms are clean and have the essentials. The TV volume is limited so it won’t disturb the neighbors. The pool is big enough for a proper swim, and extra towels are free. It gets all five stars from me.

We got the peaceful, quiet setting we expected, with lots of fresh air and great access to hiking and mountain biking. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth it!
