The rooms were clean and reasonably priced, and the location is great, right in the middle of the city centre.

The Dutch Quarter location is excellent, but that was the only positive part of my stay. The tram passes every ten minutes and was extremely disruptive, so it was hard to relax. The guesthouse decor was unpleasant too, with badly damaged walls and lots of marks. The shower had black stains and limescale that raised hygiene concerns, and the worn soap dispenser looked unprofessional. The refrigerator was very noisy, and neither the television nor the internet worked properly. At €80 a night, the guesthouse wasn’t worth the price or up to the expected standard. It needs renovation or a price adjustment.

I was there on business in March 2024 and came away very satisfied. The Old Town Pension rooms were as described, clean, and had what I needed for a comfortable stay. The neighbors were sometimes a bit noisy, but I’d still recommend this accommodation.

We felt very at home in the old town guesthouse family apartment. It was spacious and very clean, and the kitchen had all the essentials. The charming old building is right by the bus and tram stops, with lots of lovely cafes in the Dutch Quarter an easy walk away. The landlord was very friendly and accommodating, and we’d definitely book again.
